At the back of the group is John Bendy, younger brother of Alan who was head gardener for the Christian Contemplatives’ Charity during 1939 and next to him leaning over is his mother, Beth Bendy. The other woman next to John is unknown at present. The sisters from the left are Sr Monica, Sr Elisabeth (or Sr Eve?), Sr Evelyn and Sr Francesca. This photo may have been taken around 1935.
