Dear Richard thank you very much for your comments. I’m glad you are enjoying the blog posts. Yes, interesting to reflect on the church split. I am naturally a ‘better together’ sort of person but this suggests that going separate ways may be required on certain key issues if no other way forward can be reached.
Thank you Mark. I haven’t been able to look properly yet at some handwritten notes that Julia made but I can see that she is writing about Adela Curtis and the significant impact she has had on Julia. Sometimes the most exciting discoveries are found in the miscellaneous writings folder!
There is something very important in your observations here about finding vital material in the margins, not only in the developed texts with refined logic: gathering up the fragments and finding a feast in them!
Hmmm a church split by a controversial issue of the day - why does this sound familiar?!
Very, very interesting stuff again, Liz. We are all learning so much here.
Richard

Well done Liz. Really interesting reading!
Thank you for your comment Elizabeth. It was a rich few days in Bloomington. I will have a lot of material to explore on my return to the UK!
Fascinating encounters and discoveries! Thank you.

Yes indeed!
